Role Overview

As a Data Architect Global Program Manager, you will support the implementation of global Data Architect initiatives, helping ensure alignment between global strategy and regional execution. Reporting to the Global Head of Data Architect Advisory, you will contribute to program governance across Strategy, Enablement, and Value Realization while facilitating communication with regional teams in the Global Delivery Hub to help refine execution based on feedback.

This role focuses on supporting operating model design, stakeholder alignment, communication, and performance tracking across the global Data Architect program.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will support the governance of the global Data Architect program by contributing to the refinement of operating frameworks that enable consistent execution across regions. This includes assisting with role definitions, RACI models, deliverable clarity, and supporting discussions around resource and engagement planning

  • You will contribute to performance steering activities by helping define and track KPIs, reporting structures, and success metrics. Through regular coordination with regional teams, you wi

  • You will assist in identifying improvement opportunities by helping track program impact, highlighting potential gaps, and contributing to structured feedback loops between field teams, customers, and product teams.

  • Support enablement and communication initiatives that strengthen capability building and alignment across teams. This includes contributing to certification paths, learning journeys, and enablement programs across SAP’s ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Sales, Enterprise Architecture, Services, and partner teams to support the ongoing development and adoption of the Data Architect program.

  • Help maintain consistent communication across the Data Architect community, contributing to messaging, playbooks, and updates while supporting onboarding activities and sharing best practices.

What you bring:

  • Program Collaboration Experience: Experience contributing to cross-functional programs and working with stakeholders across complex, matrixed environments.

  • Strategic and Governance Understanding: Familiarity with program governance concepts, operating models, and structured execution frameworks in global organizations.

  • Stakeholder and Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to help translate complex topics into clear messages for different audiences.

  • Data and AI Business Acumen: Understanding of SAP’s Data and AI strategy and enterprise data transformation concepts, with the ability to guide program direction at a strategic level

  • Performance and Analytical Mindset: Ability to contribute to KPI tracking, reporting processes, and performance monitoring activities within program environments.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Experience supporting global or cross-regional programs, transformation initiatives, or strategic projects within SAP or enterprise software environments.

  • Understanding of SAP’s Data and AI portfolio and general enterprise data transformation landscapes.

  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional environments, working with teams across Development, Sales, Enterprise Architecture, and Services.

  • Ability to contribute to structured governance and coordination efforts, including program planning, reporting, and alignment activities.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to support engagement with internal teams and leadership stakeholders.

  • University Degree in Business, Marketing, or Technical Field

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

  • Experience building global enablement or certification frameworks

  • Background in performance steering, KPI governance, or value realization programs

  • Familiarity with hyperscaler ecosystems and partner enablement models

  • Experience in large-scale organizational change initiatives

  • 2-3 years of Program Management experience

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 107300 - 182500(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
