What you’ll do
As a Customer Solution Adoption Sr Specialist at SAP Cloud LoB Procurement Product Success, you'll help shape our new proactive engagement model by collaborating with customers, partners, and product teams to gather feedback, develop best practices, and foster success stories. You will be at the centre of product transformation, gaining early access to new innovations. The role involves acting as a bridge between customers, system integrators, SAP Customer Success, Product Managers, engineers, and support teams to ensure effective communication, enablement and product improvement. You will be a key member of a group of product experts that not just understands a product but also the solution architecture.
- Exhibit deep software architecture expertise by designing high-quality customer solutions. Collaborate with customers to shape conceptual approaches and independently develop technical proofs of concept, , test script creation/execution, and videos of end-to-end demo scenarios.
- Lead customers through transitions from current generation products to next generation products, ensuring a smooth, customer-centric experience that ensures success. Document best practices, explore opportunities to automate with AI, and drive product and customer impact at scale.
- Support successful customer implementation by driving adoption and increasing solution utilization, ultimately nurturing customer success stories. This includes guiding beta programs, early access and implementations with strategic customers.
- Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data from your customer engagements, then present insights and recommendations to product management to inform product strategy and decision making.
- Create and publish customer and partner-facing content articulating best practices for successful product implementation and foster a strong professional community. This guidance empowers partners to contribute effectively during solution architecture bootcamps.
- Contribute to creating our preventive engagement model that enables scalable customer success across multiple engagement levels (1:1 with strategic customers and 1:many partner enablement via self-guided solution experiences.)
- During customer engagements, help shape a unified product vision across SAP Ariba, other SAP products, and partner solutions.
- Support resolution of customer escalations by collaborating with colleagues, partners, and SAP executives to drive timely outcomes.
- Collaborate with global teams to gather local requirements for product roadmaps and product backlog, to provide structured input to Product Management for prioritization and market success.
- Contribute to developing our internal operational excellence framework for Product Success by defining tools and procedures that monitor execution across our suite portfolio including insights, tracking tools, labs, and other key enablers.
What you bring
- University degree in computer science, business information technology, logistics, mathematics, engineering or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience as a consultant, developer, program manager or support engineer in one or more of the areas mentioned above.
- Advanced understanding of S/4 Procurement, SAP ERP, SAP Ariba s, and the SAP Business Network solutions and architectures.
- SAP certification in one or more of the following solutions: SAP Ariba, AP Ariba Integration with Cloud Integration Gateway, SAP Business Network for Supply Chain, SAP Business Network for Procurement, S/4 Procurement, SAP IBP for Supply Chain, and SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
- Strong technical foundation including, but not limited to, proficiency in configuration review, testing, issue replication, troubleshooting; comfortable engaging in deep technical discussions with developers.
- Hands on experience with the full implementation lifecycle of enterprise solutions.
- Demonstrated executive presence and experience presenting to senior leadership through leading large enterprise customers deployments of SAP solutions.
- Proven ability to achieve results in a fast paced, entrepreneurial a team-based culture, with strong collaboration skills and appreciation for clear communication and feedback.
- Established track record of achieving results under pressure in critical situations utilizing strong interpersonal communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to investigate technical issues, troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
- Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations and present complex information in a clear and precise manner.
- Willingness and ability to travel to customers.
- Exhibited ability to innovate, think creatively, learn AI to deliver automation.
- Fluency in English with a minimum of at least a CEFR rating of B2
