About the role/program

Corporate Processes & Information Technology (CPIT) leverages SAP's technology and business expertise to enhance internal standard applications. Our goal is to drive co-innovation with development and optimize processes using standard services. By merging technological insight with business strategy and being early adopters of our innovative solutions, we ensure seamless integration between business and technology, exemplifying SAP's shift to a cloud company.

The CPIT Academy provides an extraordinary career start for graduates and early talents who want to drive SAP’s transformation into an intelligent, sustainable enterprise. As an early career talent, you will help executing and rethinking internal processes, strategies and systems. The CPIT Academy is a 12-month program with international virtual rotations, designed for high-preforming graduates or young professionals with a comprehensive understanding of technology. As participant in the CPIT Academy, you will go through three virtual rotations in different CPIT areas, such as:

  • Strategy & Operations / CPIT : This unit defines and provides architectural strategies, harnessing the potential of data and AI, and delivering top-tier innovative platforms, support services, and processes.
  • Corporate Functions & Analytics: This unit focuses on improving applications and processes within Core Finance, HR, and Procurement while enhancing data-driven decision making through strategies for automation, efficiency, and data democratization.
  • Customer & Partner Functions: This unit delivers Go-to-Market applications with exceptional experiences across marketing, sales, adoption, and renewals for customers, partners, and business users.

Please note that departments can vary from candidate to candidate.

This full-time position is for applicants starting and finishing the program in Bangalore, India.

What you’ll do

  • Bachelor's or master's degree (BE/Btech/MBA/MTech/MCA) in a technical/business informatic field or similar (technical orientation as must).
  • Early Career Talents (0-2 years of working experience).
  • Ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams
  • Strong communication skills and experience in cross country collaboration
  • Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent, proactive way
  • Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
  • Ability to analyze and understand internal customer requirements and eager to find new ways to simplify processes and tools.
  • Affinity for data analytics and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Experience in planning, delivering, and controlling projects leveraging agile tools & techniques.
  • Self-driven, self-organized, and open-minded team player.
  • Flexible, highly motivated and proactive professionals.
  • Fluency in English.

As we are seeking for technical orientation, experiences or familiarity in one or more of the following areas is a must.

  • Software Development: Exposure to Java / Python / JavaScript / SQL or JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular, as well as HTML5 and CSS.
  • Data & Databases: Understanding of data models, database systems, and analytical data modeling.
  • Development Practices: Interest in agile methodologies and modern software architecture.
  • Cloud Technologies: Basic understanding of cloud infrastructures and their application.
  • Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with version control (Git) and project tracking (JIRA).
  • SAP & Enterprise Tech: Any experience with SAP technologies (e.g., ABAP, Java) or an interest in SAP strategy is a plus.
