Summary:

As a Business Process Consultant, you will partner with portfolio of Enterprise customers across multiple regions, as a configuration expert and trusted consultant for SAP Concur. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, advanced technical proficiency, and the analytical skill to navigate complex requirements, combined with the ability to communicate clearly and translate technical complexity into actionable business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fulfill customer configuration needs within SAP Concur, delivering accurate, well-structured solutions in test and production environments.
  2. Engage with customers’ authorized support contacts to analyze complex requirements, clarify scope, and translate needs into system configuration and process designs.
  3. Document, report and present work with clarity and precision, including design decisions, configuration changes, tests, and outcomes.
  4. Adhere to SAP Concur’s rules of engagement, project governance, and change management practices.
  5. Meet and continuously improve KPIs (e.g., SLA adherence, solution quality, technical accuracy, customer satisfaction, etc).
  6. Manage customer escalations professionally; act as a trusted consultant while liaising effectively with internal teams to drive timely resolution.
  7. Track planned hours and initiate change requests when scope or effort exceeds plan.
  8. Provide advanced technical expertise in situations requiring complex analysis and problem resolution.
  9. Obtain and maintain relevant SAP certifications; develop business-aligned use cases that translate certification knowledge into measurable value.
  10. Contribute to projects, innovations, automations, and programming activities that enhance service quality and efficiency.

Role Requirements:

  1. Proven ability to understand and interpret complex business requirements with high attention to detail.
  2. Demonstrated experience translating customer requirements into system configuration and process solutions, including managing complex customer situations.
  3. Disciplined, analytical, and detail-oriented approach towards solving customer cases.
  4. Advanced Technical competence in enterprise system configuration (SAP Concur experience preferred).
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to clearly articulate complex information to clients and stakeholders.
  6. Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  7. Proficiency with SQL and Python; additional programing languages are a plus.
  8. Knowledge of software deployment lifecycle and testing practices.
  9. Advanced computer skills (including Microsoft Office) and confidence working within complex systems.
  10. Ability to present and interpret data clearly and professionally to support decision-making.
  11. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment toward effective solutions.
  12. Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  13. Strong organizational and planning skills to consistently deliver on commitments.

Work Model and Schedule:

  1. Full-time role (typically 40+ hours per week to accomplish performance objectives and to provide satisfactory job presence and/or responsiveness). Overtime may be required based on business needs, peak periods, or operational demands.
  2. Flexibility in working hours may be required or available depending on customer and regional demands.
  3. Hybrid working model; full on-site presence required during initial onboarding period.

  1. SLA attainment and response/resolution times
  2. Quality and accuracy of configuration and documentation
  3. Customer satisfaction and effective escalation management
  4. Current, relevant certifications and demonstrated application to customer outcomes
  5. Adherence to planned hours and effective change control

About the team:

  1. Partners primarily with large Enterprise customers, across tiers of paid premium services.
  2. Drives projects, innovations, automations and programming activities to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  3. Delivers paid, billable service deliverables aligned with SAP Concur service standards.
  4. Works directly with the customers' authorized support contacts, delivering solutions within customer test and production environments.
