Where you belong:

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Quality Engineer who will be responsible for developing and executing test cases to support the overall solution release process. The QA Job functions works collaboratively with all participants in software deployment projects.

You must have the desire and ability to work independently on complex issues, as well as collaborate efficiently with experts to anticipate issues that impact customer success.

You will participate in the overall Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating, and executing test cases for releases in each Cloud Landscape for multiple applications across various portfolios. The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades or migrations. You will work closely with Release Management Teams to identify defects, track defect remediation, and include software or solution updates required to resolve issues in future release plan.

What you'll build:

  • Executes test cases under varying circumstances
  • Documents and evaluates test results
  • Detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches
  • Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors
  • Reviews test procedures and develops test scripts
  • Willingness to Support On-call rotation schedule

What you bring

  • 2-6 years of previous QA or release management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred)
  • 2 years of experience in information systems operations environment, solution support and management or development
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with Agile Frameworks and Regression Testing
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional tasks to completion
  • Demonstrated effective communication and analytical skills.
  • Advanced time management and process adherence skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of analysis and trace tools across multiple applications.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MI
