Business Senior Manager - Consulting
Job Description
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What You Will Do
Build and lead the regional Industry AI team: Hire, onboard, and develop a team of Industry AI Business Process Experts — setting standards, creating growth opportunities, and building a high-performance culture from day one.
Drive priority customer engagements: Lead SAP's most strategically important Industry AI engagements in the region at the senior level — setting the agenda, guiding the team, and ensuring outcomes that transform how customers operate and grow.
Set strategy and build the practice: Define Industry AI focus areas and resource priorities for your region, establish standards and operating norms, and position the team as one of SAP's highest-performing globally.
Enable use case excellence: Capable of defining high-value Industry AI use cases directly — your primary role is to create the standards, coaching, and conditions that enable the team to do so consistently and at scale.
Own executive stakeholder relationships: Build and sustain C-suite and board-level partnerships at SAP's strategic accounts — serving as the senior trusted advisor who connects business ambition to Industry AI outcomes.
Shape SAP's global agenda from your region: Ensure customer insights and market signals from your region actively feed SAP's product roadmap, CIS priorities, and go-to-market strategy.
What You Bring
Industry expertise: 8+ years in Manufacturing, Energy & Natural Resources, Consumer Products, or Professional Industries — with the domain depth to lead senior customer conversations and credibly guide the team's thinking.
Team management and people leadership: Demonstrated track record of building and developing high-performing teams — including hiring, coaching, and performance management — leading with emotional intelligence to create an environment where experts do their best work.
Strategic thinking and complex problem solving: Ability to define the right priorities in a fast-moving landscape, cut through complexity, and make clear decisions that move both the team and customers forward.
Consulting or product leadership and financial acumen: Track record of driving complex, high-value business transformation engagements from inception to outcome — with the financial acumen to manage pipeline, P&L impact, resourcing, and business case development.
AI and use case fluency: Sufficient depth in Agentic AI and Industry AI use case design to guide the team, challenge assumptions, and engage credibly with customers on AI strategy and roadmap.
SAP platform knowledge: Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business AI Platform, SAP Joule, Signavio, LeanIX, and clean-core, cloud-first architecture principles.
Communication and influence: Exceptional written and verbal English — able to present to boards, navigate executive-level stakeholder relationships, represent SAP externally, and inspire the team.
Where You Belong
You will lead CIS's newly formed Industry AI Business Process Management team in your region — a role at the heart of SAP's strategic Industry AI initiative. This role is for a leader who brings genuine industry depth alongside the experience and instinct to build a team of experts. You understand the work deeply enough to guide it, step in when needed, and inspire those doing it. Your success is ultimately measured by what the team achieves, not only what you deliver individually.
*Please note, this role is location agnostic. Any and all locations within the U.S. will be considered. #SAPIndustryAI
