Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize AI agents for real-world applications

- Build and maintain data pipelines for model training, evaluation, and serving

- Research and implement state-of-the-art AI techniques including Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, AI Agents, and multimodal systems

- Design and integrate AI-powered features into solutions and services via APIs

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering) to define AI solutions

- Write clean, well-tested, production-quality code

- Stay current with the rapidly evolving AI landscape and contribute to internal knowledge sharing

Skills

- Solid programming skills in Python; familiarity with Java/C++ is a plus

- Understanding of AI fundamentals: supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, optimization, evaluation metrics

- Hands-on experience with at least one of: LLM, AI agents, RAG, Machine learning (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX)

- Experience with LLM application development (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, MCP, AI Agents)

- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or other SAP solutions and business processes (e.g., finance, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, HR) is a plus

- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles

- Familiar with vector databases

- Experience with Linux environments and Git version control

What You Will Work On

As a SAP AI consultant, you will be involved in a wide range of AI initiatives that bring intelligence to enterprise business processes.

You will help build and enhance Joule, SAP's AI copilot, enabling natural language interactions across SAP product lines so that business users can query data, trigger workflows, and get contextual recommendations through conversation.

In the area of Intelligent ERP, you will develop AI-driven automation for core business operations within S/4HANA.

You will work on Document Intelligence solutions that automatically extract, classify, and summarize enterprise documents.

Predictive Analytics is another key focus area. You will build models for demand forecasting, cash flow prediction, workforce planning, and supply chain optimization that empower business leaders to make data-driven decisions ahead of time.

A rapidly growing area of our work is AI Agents — autonomous, multi-step agents capable of reasoning over SAP business data, calling SAP APIs as tools, and executing complex workflows end-to-end with minimal human intervention. You will design and implement agentic architectures that operate reliably in enterprise-grade environments.

You will also play a key role in building enterprise-grade RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems that serve as the knowledge backbone of SAP's AI capabilities. This involves designing and optimizing end-to-end RAG pipelines — from document ingestion and embedding, to retrieval strategies and LLM grounding — across diverse SAP data sources such as product documentation, knowledge bases, and customer-specific business content. You will focus on improving retrieval quality, answer faithfulness, and hallucination mitigation, while exploring advanced approaches like Graph RAG and agentic RAG to tackle the unique challenges of enterprise knowledge at scale.

Across all of these areas, you will be working at the intersection of cutting-edge AI research and real-world enterprise impact, solving challenges around accuracy, scalability, security, and compliance that are unique to the enterprise AI space.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.

- Proficient in English. You must be able to read technical documentation, write clear code comments and design documents, and communicate fluently with international colleagues in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., German) is a plus.

- Curious and self-driven — You genuinely enjoy learning, whether it's reading the latest AI papers, experimenting with new frameworks, or diving into unfamiliar SAP business domains. You don't wait to be told what to learn.

- Strong communicator and collaborator — You can explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, actively listen to understand business needs, and work effectively with cross-functional, globally distributed teams.

- Ownership-oriented and result-driven — You treat your work as your own product, care about quality, follow through on commitments, and proactively flag risks when things don't go as planned.

- Open-minded and adaptable — Enterprise AI comes with real-world constraints such as legacy systems, data quality issues, and shifting priorities. You embrace these challenges and adjust your

approach when circumstances change.

- Growth mindset and receptive to feedback — You see code reviews, design critiques, and retrospectives as opportunities to improve. You are equally willing to mentor others and share what you've learned.

- Detail-oriented yet pragmatic — You care about code quality, testing, and documentation, but also understand when to ship a good-enough solution and iterate rather than pursuing perfection at the cost of progress.

- Passionate about real-world impact — You are motivated not just by the technology itself, but by the value AI can create for millions of enterprise users around the world.
