Purpose and Objective:

SAP International, Inc. seeks a Business Development Chief Expert at our Miami, FL location to be responsible for identifying new business opportunities for certain industries, markets, products or partners and creating appropriate business plans that use leveraged engagement strategies.

Expectations and Tasks:

SAP Business Development defines partner programs, by securing and contracting partners as alliances to engage in adding value to the SAP product. Ensures appropriate involvement of SAP and partner personnel in customer projects. Identifies new market opportunities (i.e., products, markets and technology). Monitors company's market share and competition. Participates in customer presentations and meetings as appropriate to ensure closure of business opportunities. Generates compelling business strategies/plans in collaboration with key lines of business and pursue innovative opportunities. Assists in developing and indirectly leading the business development team in sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities. Contributes to the development and refinement of SAP's vision and strategy. Supports the process of management and corporate decision making to ensure the organization maximizes short-, medium-, and long-term profitability and shareholder returns. May provide senior executive level leadership on leveraging new business development strategies and business plans throughout an assigned market/ sub-region. Provides leadership to all levels of the organization including, regional and local executive teams. Liaise with executive heads on the implementation of strategic and operational plans. Contributes to the development, review, and reporting on business development strategies ensuring strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team. May indirectly lead a team to identify, evaluate and execute on important investment opportunities including 3rd party partnership negotiations and defining contractual obligations.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Engineering, IT, Marketing, or a related field of study and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept a combination of education and experience as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Engineering, IT, Marketing, or a related field of study and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve five (5) years in the following:

· International business development and technology sales, including serving emerging market;

· Innovation projects for sustainability energy, CO2 reduction, supply chain resilience, environmental health and safety;

· Taxonomy for sustainable activities and international standards in GRI, SASB, and TCFD;

· SAP solutions for innovation and digital transformation, big data technologies and advanced analytics; and

· Public speaking for digital transformation and open innovation

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $195,562 -$300,365. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $271,800 - $462,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
