What you’ll build

As part of SAP Integration Suite's API Management solution, the API Experience group enables customers to transform their complex API ecosystems into AI-ready business assets. A cornerstone of this approach is our API Composition technology, which provides unified access to semantically connected, integrated APIs through a graph of entities.

As an (Associate) Developer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions that transform siloed API access into unified experiences by connecting semantically related APIs through an entity relationship graph.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop our API technologies as part of SAP Integration Suite and API Management solutions.
• Optimize API performance for scalability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API usage.
• Shape best practices and contribute to technical documentation.

What you bring

We're looking for a passionate and skilled (associate) developer who brings:

• Foundational computer science knowledge (e.g. data structures and algorithms), familiarity with object-oriented design, and an understanding of querying relational databases (e.g. SQL)
• Programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and Golang – ideally in AI-assisted development environments.
• First Hands-on experience in Graph API development using GraphQL, OData, REST, or BAPI.
• First cloud-native expertise with Kubernetes and other CNCF technologies.
• A solid understanding of applied AI, in particular "agentic API consumption" with MCP.
• Problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging technologies.
