Meet your team

SAP is seeking an experienced AI Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

As part of the Customer Engagement & Adoption (CE&A) – Global Delivery Hub, you will help global customers accelerate AI adoption across SAP landscapes, enabling intelligent, AI-powered business processes.

This role combines strategic customer engagement, solution architecture ownership, and hands-on technical leadership, translating business challenges into scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Engage with customer stakeholders to define AI strategy, architecture, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead discovery sessions and workshops to shape enterprise AI adoption journeys.
  • Architect scalable, secure, enterprise-grade GenAI and Agentic AI solutions.
  • Develop reference architectures for use cases including RAG, multi-agent orchestration, A2A, MCP, and hybrid AI patterns.
  • Establish best practices for AI architecture covering governance, scalability, security, and lifecycle management.
  • Design and guide implementation of LLMOps/MLOps pipelines for enterprise deployments.
  • Architect AI solutions leveraging SAP BTP, AI Core, Joule, SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and SAP integration services.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering and data science teams.
  • Evaluate and select LLMs, agent frameworks, and AI platforms aligned to enterprise use cases.
  • Drive customer adoption from PoC through enterprise-wide rollout.
  • Ensure Responsible AI adoption, compliance, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
  • Contribute to reusable accelerators, frameworks, and solution assets to scale adoption.
  • Collaborate across SAP and partner teams to deliver customer AI transformation programs.

What you bring

  • 8–20 years of experience in AI/ML and solution architecture, including enterprise delivery experience.
  • Strong expertise in Generative AI architectures including RAG, agent orchestration, and model customization.
  • Experience with agentic systems, multi-agent coordination, tool usage, A2A/MCP patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or equivalent.
  • Experience designing and implementing Business AI solutions.
  • Strong foundation in distributed systems and scalable software architecture.
  • Experience designing cloud-native AI platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python; working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript is beneficial.
  • Experience with vector databases, semantic retrieval, and knowledge graph architectures.
  • Experience implementing MLOps/LLMOps and model lifecycle governance.
  • Experience with SAP BTP preferred; hyperscaler experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, HANA DB, and SAP AI offerings is advantageous.
  • Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to lead technical strategy and influence enterprise decisions.
  • Passion for innovation and emerging AI technologies.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
