PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SAP Next Gen Academy for Cloud Delivery targets graduates with 0–3 years of professional experience. This 12-month rotational program develops deep expertise in SAP Basis and Hyperscaler administration and equips Associates with the skills and knowledge required to transition seamlessly into roles within the ECS organization.

The SAP Next Gen Academy for Cloud Delivery is seeking a Regional Program Manager who will serve as the functional manager for Cloud Delivery Academy Associates and be accountable for the design, planning, and execution of the 12-month program within the region. The role will work in close alignment with counterparts in Mexico and India to ensure a globally consistent program experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Program Leadership: Lead the planning, preparation, and execution of SAP’s state-of-the-art global Cloud Delivery Academy program within the region.
• Attract & Hire: Partner with Talent Discovery and business stakeholders to attract, hire, and onboard top early-career talent.
• Content Delivery: Deliver engaging, high-impact learning experiences, both virtually and in person, that accelerate skill development and readiness for Associates’ future roles within the ECS organization.
• Certification: Oversee and support the required technical certification process for Academy Associates, ensuring consistent standards and successful completion.
• People Development/Management: Manage, develop, coach, evaluate, and performance-manage approximately 50 Early Talents per year, ensuring continuous growth and strong program outcomes.
• Practical Segment Ownership: Accountable for the success of the Practical Segment by partnering closely with the First-Line Leader (FLL) to ensure each Academy Associate is engaged in meaningful, high-value activities.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with regional and global business stakeholders across SAP’s Customer Services & Delivery organization to ensure program relevance and alignment with business priorities.
• Program Optimization: Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, analytics, and iteration of content and delivery methods.
• Operational Excellence: Optimize scheduling, analytics, and tools for seamless program delivery and reporting

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Cloud Delivery Expertise: Direct experience in Cloud Delivery or a strong, in-depth understanding of the roles, responsibilities, and operational practices within SAP’s Enterprise Cloud Services organization.
• Program Development and Execution: Demonstrated ability to design, plan, and execute enablement programs that drive measurable business and learning outcomes.
• Early Talent Development: Passion and skill for developing early-career professionals.
• Leadership in a Matrix Environment: Proven ability to lead and influence across complex, global organizational structures.
• Stakeholder Influence: Strong capability to build trust and alignment with senior business leaders and cross-functional partners.
• Coaching and Feedback: Skilled at facilitating skill development through actionable, specific, and growth-oriented feedback.
• Continuous Improvement Mindset: Receptive to feedback, data insights, and performance metrics to continuously enhance program quality and efficiency.
• Cultural Agility: Demonstrates global cultural awareness and respect; able to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
• Networking and Collaboration: Brings a well-developed network within ECS and the ability to connect stakeholders across regions to accelerate program success.
• Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent communicator with empathy, influence, and negotiation strength; able to engage and inspire individuals and teams.
• Language Skills: Candidate is required to be fluent in English and the local language.
  
  

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years of experience within Cloud Delivery or a comparable role.
• Prior people-management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of developing and enabling others.
  
  

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Management, or a related field.
• Preferred certifications:
  • Technical Implementation & Operation of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Suite (TADM10 & TADM12)
  • Administration & Installation of SAP HANA (HA200)
  • Hyperscaler fundamentals (e.g., Microsoft Azure Fundamentals / Administrator or equivalent).
