What you build:

• Guide/ lead architecture decisions in your team based on industry standards and best practices, lead adherence to architectural principles, SAP product-specific guidelines, and product standards.
• Show initiative and drive topics to resolution to a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency.
• Design, code, test and assure quality of complex product features via Agile techniques.
• Verifying that the delivered product meets the functional and design requirements and sign off on delivery.
• Investigate, analyse complex problems; and resolve critical content related issues for the Development Landscape Management (DLM) department – as part of the S/4HANA Cloud ERP Unit Automation.
• Work towards enabling engineering teams to deliver AI apps to the customers.
• Continuous Improvement by contributing to the innovation, bringing new values to team’s Automation and AI/ML program

What you bring:

• 5-8 years of programming experience.
• Strong programming background and excellent technical skills in ABAP/ABAP OO / OData / Fiori / UI5 /HANA/ Webdynpro.
• Working knowledge of BDC, Joule, AI Agents.
• Very good debugging skills with an ability to handle complexity.
• Experience in development coordination, project or development management is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communications and presentation skills.
• A good level of experience in SAP ABAP Development.
• Experience with object-oriented programming with ABAP Objects, BAPI/BADIs and enhancement points.
• Knowledge in Python scripting and AI /ML is a plus.
• Fluency both written and spoken in English.

The Development Landscape Management department – as part of the Product Delivery organization - is responsible for the complete life cycle management (planning, production, and operations) of SAP’s internal development landscapes on which SAP software solutions getting built. As DLM Architecture and landscape management team (ALM) we are the strategic partners for engineering teams and provide the complete ecosystem including development and test landscapes for ABAP and FIORI Applications. We are front runners in driving the AI use cases, automation for internal delivery processes.
