What you’ll do


Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled ABAP (Associate) Developer (f/m/d) to join our dynamic team. As a member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative SAP solutions. You will leverage your expertise in SAP ABAP and RAP to create user-friendly and efficient applications that meet the evolving needs of our business.

The Role:
• ABAP Development: Utilize advanced ABAP and RAP programming techniques to design, develop and implement robust and scalable backend services, reports, interfaces, and workflows.
• Quality Awareness: Possess knowledge of ABAP Unit Tests and the ability to secure developments with effective tests.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize code, and implement performance tuning techniques.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely solutions.
• Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation for backend systems, APIs, and processes. Work together with user assistance to create and improve customer facing documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with adjacent development teams, product management, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Experience in UI5/Fiori Development: Develop visually appealing and user-friendly UI applications using SAPUI5, SAP Fiori elements, and other relevant technologies


What you bring

• Strong proficiency in object-oriented ABAP, EML and RAP (managed and unmanaged)
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and at least one of its core modules (e.g., MM, FI, CO, SD)
• Experience with APIs and OData services
• Experience with agile software development processes and implementation projects
• Solid understanding of database concepts, CDS views, DCLs and SQL
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with development processes within the S/4HANA Public Cloud environment (CFD, FBE, etc.)
• Familiarity with procurement processes and solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
