Introduction
As the Technical Lead for our development team within Technology Services, your core mission is to provide technical leadership, shape architectural decisions, and ensure the excellence of our Azure-based solutions. With a strong focus on .NET Core, Angular, Azure services, and API Management, you will lead the teams to deliver high-quality software, drive technical innovation, and maintain a culture of technical excellence. Your expertise will be instrumental in the success and growth of our technical projects and teams.
What's the role about?
We have a team of 7 RSPB Developers ranging from Senior to Junior and require a Technical Lead to guide their work and that of our partners.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Hands on development experience with .Net core C# and Azure services.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to the development teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects with a focus on .NET Core and Angular technologies.
- Oversee the architectural design of software solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices in .NET Core and Angular development.
- Azure Expertise: Leverage your expertise in Azure services to optimize our cloud-based solutions. Ensure efficient utilization, cost-effectiveness, and high availability of Azure resources.
- API Management Excellence: Manage and enhance Azure API Management (APIM) configurations, ensuring secure, efficient, and well-documented APIs for our applications.
- Technical Innovation: Drive technical innovation within the teams by staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in .NET Core, Angular, Azure, and APIM Code
- Technical Problem Solving: Lead the resolution of complex technical challenges, providing guidance and solutions to ensure project success.
- Technical Skill Development: Identify skill gaps within the teams and facilitate training and skill development plans to enhance technical capabilities.
- Technical Compliance: Ensure that development practices adhere to security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance standards.
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience: - Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct regular code reviews, and implement automated testing to maintain
- DevOps Integration: Promote DevOps practices within the teams, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated deployment to Azure environments.
This is a Permanent role for 37.5 hours per week.
