Job Description

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you’ll help put our Café at Pulborough Brooks on the local map. You’ll provide great service to our customers, and support your F&B colleagues. In return, we’ll help you to become a successful team member. You’ll learn how our Café is run and develop your skills so that when an opportunity to progress comes up, you’re in a great place to grab it.

Hours available 10-4 Sat (6 hours), 10-4 Sun (6 hours), you also need to be available to work Bank Holidays and weekdays during school holidays.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide a friendly and thoughtful service – you’ll give friendly, welcoming, easy, helpful, and thoughtful service every day, helping prepare food and taking orders.
  • Engage with everyone to succeed together – you’ll be part of your team’s inclusive culture where everyone feels respected, valued and able to speak their minds.
  • Make sure the Cafe is safe, legal and operational – you’ll conduct daily diligence checks to make sure our customers have a quick and safe eating experience, and support your Team members to carry these checks through at regular intervals.
