Job Description

We’re looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to manage our brand-new cafe at The Lodge Nature Reserve.

About the Role
This Role is based at The Lodge Nature Reserve, Potton Road, Sandy, SG19 2DL
This is a Permanent role for 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7, with daytime shifts.
Salary range: £23,489 - £25,216

Key Skills Areas

  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager in leading the Food and Beverage team in day-to-day operations.
  • Awareness of budgets, controlling costs and maximising income.
  • Monitors targets to deliver organisational goals.
  • Able to maintain positive relationships, working collaboratively with the wider Reserve team.
  • Supervisory skills including shift leading, monitoring team training progress and completion of day-to-day compliance paperwork.
  • Provides a warm welcome for our visitors, is helpful and friendly with a positive attitude.
  • Maintains food hygiene and health and safety standards in the work environment.
  • Assists with the development of a new outlet within the RSPB brand at our Headquarters location and supporting the Food and Beverage Manager with development and implementation of future offers on site.
