Team accountabilities – How we work:
As part of Development Engineering within the Test & Experimental Engineering organisation, you will support a wide range of activities across various engine development programmes. You will contribute to the planning and execution of test and experimental engineering tasks that help verify and mature next-generation jet engine technologies.
We are looking for enthusiastic and talented engineering students to join us on our journey towards more efficient and more powerful jet engines.
Key accountabilities – What we expect from You:
Support the development of product verification strategies and development plans for different engine programmes.
Act as an interface between engineering teams and Manufacturing, Installation, Test, and Commissioning functions to help align requirements.
Support the preparation of engine bench and flight test build specifications, as well as test specifications, to ensure verification requirements are fulfilled.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the team and wider organisation.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled as a student in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar field at a university in the greater Berlin area; ideally with an imminent or already completed Bachelor’s degree.
Very good understanding of jet engine functionality and the underlying engineering principles.
Strong ability to quickly acquire complex technical knowledge and work effectively with ambiguity in a highly dynamic technical environment.
Excellent reliability, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Fluent in English.
Permission to work as a working student in Germany.
