Technician (Sangatta)

Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Technician like you, to oversee and bring expertise to our team. This is the service support role for our team in Sangatta. We are looking for hands on candidate for engine repair, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. The product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail and defence vehicles and for the oil and gas industry as well as diesel and gas systems and battery containers for mission critical, standby and continuous power, combined generation of heat and power, and microgrids.

Key Accountabilities:

• Conduct product dismantle, repair, assembly, and test per the correct procedures according to RR manufacturing and service standards

• Ensure that working area is in safe and clean condition as per the required standard

• Operate based on standard procedure and applicable safety regulation in customer’s site

• Carry out duty as per the MTU requirements in consultation with customer needs within the agreed time frame

• To travel to the customer site to respond the customer needs/requirements

• To prepare report as per the job assignments in correct and accurate manner

• To fully perform duties with his accountability to meet the customer need as well as the standard policy and procedures of PT. MTU Indonesia

• Special assignments

Qualifications and skills:

• At least D3 level from related field or Technician High School with at least 3 years experiences in similar position

• Proven engine repair skill and knowledge

• Has a good sense of interpersonal skills

• Mature and able to manage working under pressure

• Proactive and has sense of product repair skills

• Familiar with MS Office

• Proficient written and oral English
