Position Summary

Senior Executive, Parts : Technical & Material Master Support will provide technical support on engine parts suitability, manage BOM and system data, resolve quality issues, and support customers with parts planning, lifecycle costing, and maintenance requirements for diesel engine applications.


What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with international teams (e.g. Germany and US) to provide technical assistance on the suitability of engine parts and tools to meet customer’s requirements.

  • Creation and maintenance of Material Master, Parts Supersession Chain, BOM and other relevant system data.

  • Build up databases for efficient part verifications and expert knowledge.

  • Assess and provide recommendation on parts’ quality issues.

  • Assist customers in APAC region to build the parts lists for overhaul/ maintenance of their engines and the recommendation of parts to stock based on technical information bulletins, campaigns and market requirements.

  • Recommend items to be inventoried based on technical information, campaigns and market requirements.

  • Involve in project teams handling parts proposals, life cycle costing and integrated logistics support.

  • Review relevant KPIs regularly and takes corrective actions if necessary.

  • Special assignment from time to time.

Position requirements:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical / Marine Engineering.

  • Knowledge of diesel engines and experience working in an engine related industry /business.

  • Experience in interpreting engineering drawings and parts cataloguing.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge in operating SAP – Material Master.
