About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Health, Safety and Environment Specialist to be part of our Rolls-Royce Power Solution team in Thailand (RRST). This role will undertake the responsibility in ensuring compliance with workplace safety, environmental safety and carry out product safety assessments.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Health, Safety and Environment:
    • Ensure RRST work activities are compliance with regulatory company requirements, keep updated on changes.
    • Establish strong coordination and collaboration with all departments to ensure no deficiencies in all HSE aspects throughout the Organization.
    • Ensure RRST is operating as per the applicable HSE standards by continuously improving HSE awareness in the Organization, monitoring and supervision of HSE activities at all corporate locations including at customers’ locations, and meeting given KPIs.
    • Conduct with RRST team on hazard identification, risk assessment and implement control measures to ensure risk has been reduced as low as reasonably practicable.
    • Report all on-site incidents to APAC HSE. Lead in investigating incidents / accident and near misses. Apply root cause analysis techniques (e.g. Fishbone, 5 Whys, Fault Tree Analysis, 8D) to determine cause and corrective actions.
    • Carry out first cut review on contractor/supplier risk assessment, lifting plans, and other safety documentation to align with Rolls-Royce and client standards.
    • Perform client / supplier site inspections and audit to ensure safe working conditions and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Product Safety:
    • Support the product safety assessment (HARA) to ensure the product meets company established safety standards.
    • Work with the Regional Product Safety Manager in Singapore to support the project leader on product safety element to cross the respective project quality gates.
    • Keep proper record of all product safety assessments in APAC.
    • Cross support in APAC based on bandwidth allocation.
  • Perform special assignments from time to time by APAC HSE or Project Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Safety Supervisor certificate is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Thailand HSE legislation
  • Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in commercial construction, preferably in data center projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good command of English in both written and spoken communication is preferred.
  • Applicant must be willing to work in Thailand and willing to travel to supplier and client sites within Thailand.
