- Analyse potential new markets and assess their viability for entry, helping to identify and define product requirements and specifications.
- Develop innovative business models that align with the company's strategic goals and market demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement these products and business models.
- Identify and support the establishment of strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, industry associations, suppliers, and potential clients.
- Manage business development projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
- Support new product development projects with local input and expertise on customer requirements and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet objectives.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on market opportunities, business development activities, and project outcomes to senior management.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Being embedded in the regional Sales Team, report and align with the global Power Generation Team and Regional Sales Team.
Qualifications & skills
- Completed technical degree with a focus on energy economics, mechanical or plant engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience within the power generation business (>3 years).
- Several years of experience in the creation new business models and product management (>5 years)
- Proactive, accountable, and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in business target achievement, strategic development, and execution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident demeanour, presentation competence, and excellent rhetorical skills.
- High level of analytical and conceptual abilities.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel 20%.
