Opportunity
Quantexa is looking for an exceptional candidate to lead Solution Engineering (Business and Technical presales) activities with our Alliance partners in North America. Our growing alliances ecosystem is a key enabler to Quantexa’s success, and this high-profile role will see the right candidate working with top tier consultancies, tech firms, integrators & their strategic customers across North America to facilitate the expansion of our business.
As a key member of the North America QCO leadership team you will set the Solution Engineering strategy for alliance partners across multiple industry verticals and influence the overall commercial and technical strategy with your peers in our alliances, sales, marketing, and product leadership teams. This role reports to the Global Head of Solution Engineering for Alliances.
The Solution Engineering (SE) team at Quantexa is the first touchpoint for prospect organisations within the Quantexa Customer Office (QCO) and builds the foundations of the customer journey.
We ensure:
- The right Quantexa solution is identified (via ‘discovery’ and then ‘solutionizing’) at the right time for our prospects.
- Alliance and Sales opportunities are well qualified from the business case perspective and highly value focussed.
- Prospects are set up for success from the outset.
The Alliances Solution Engineering team specifically focus on applying our best practices and solutions to:
- Fulfil technical pre-sales role on Partner direct license opportunities
- Drive and technical design of Partner Managed Service offerings powered by Quantexa
- Support Quantexa technology and OEM partners, to empower their own solutions to their customers; and
- Quantexa clients directly, in collaboration with our advisory, consultancy and delivery partners
The Role
- Embody Solution Engineering best practices while leading and teaching the Solution Engineers at our partner organisations, to help ensure their success.
- Lead the process of ‘Discovery’ and then ‘Solutionize’ with our partners and their clients, to iterate and hone in on the right joint solution for all partners.
- Execute on alliances sales strategies with Quantexa's commercial teams, and collaborate throughout the sales cycle to ensure success, including with our solution architects, product teams and domain SMEs.
- Become the trusted advisor to our partners, and their clients, including developing compelling joint technical solutions and associated business cases with them. Including supporting go-to-market activities
- Discover and understand the business problems that our partners are solving for their clients, and then empower the solution with Quantexa technology.
- Articulate and demonstrate how these problems will be solved by Quantexa and the business value we can provide.
- Assist partner sales calls remotely or face to face in qualifying opportunities and delivering product demonstrations and presentations.
- Assist in managing Request For Proposals (RFPs), Request For Information (RFIs) and Proof of Concepts (POCs) with our partners.
- Keep up to date on product and industry knowledge.
- Coordinate handover of information to the Solution Success (POC and Implementation) team post-signature.
- Represent Quantexa at industry and client events, and share your thought leadership.
Location
Our United States offices are located in Boston, MA and New York, NY and we are soon to establish a presence on the West Coast. As more regular business travel continues to resume, travel to partner and prospect locations across the US and Canada will likely be required (up to 50%). The role can be in either office location or, in some cases, fully remote.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of analytical software ecosystem and underlying technologies
- Leadership and management experience in a commercially focussed, technical role e.g.: Presales, Solution Engineering, Technical Sales, Value Consulting, Solution Consulting etc.
- Experience in solutioning, co-innovating, scoping and delivering partner technology initiatives.
- Passionate about Solution Engineering with exceptional track record in the field.
- Technology expertise in data-driven, analytical solutions including Entity Resolution, Network Generation, Advanced Analytics or MDM.
- Domain expertise in multiple areas of financial services: Risk, Anti-Financial Crime, Anti-fraud, AML, KYC, CRM or
- Domain expertise in multiple areas of government: Tax or VAT evasion; customs and border risk assessments; public security; and benefits fraud, waste and abuse.
- Proven at collaborating between software vendors and software alliance partners (both services or technology partners).
