Papercup uses AI to dub videos into other languages using the most human sounding synthetic voices you've ever heard.
Leaders in entertainment, news, and enterprise, such as Jamie Oliver, Business Insider and Bloomberg, use Papercup every day to leap language barriers and engage more deeply with their international audiences. Last year alone over 350 million people watched videos translated by Papercup. About the Role:

Papercup needs experienced Senior or Principal Product Manager to take a key role in our growing team. You will lead product direction and execution for the cross-functional team responsible for scaling our internal operations and developing customer touch points. Your expertise in managing complex projects, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation will be key to our success.

This is a crucial role which will be responsible for scaling our internal operations and developing customer points. You will be responsible for bringing the product from 1 - 100.

Your profile

​You have a proven track record of driving standards in high performing cross-functional teams. You want to join a fast moving startup focused on some of the most interesting problems in generative AI. You are a servant leader with an opinionated take on product management, and are keen to apply these to shape a team and company culture. You'll shape the product and strategy for scaling our human-in-the-loop operations, customer touch points and work alongside a world class team.

  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, preferably in a fast-paced results driven start-up/scale-up environment.
  • UX focus: Proven ability to make customer-centric decisions, a deep understanding of jobs-to-be-done and user experience.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from different disciplines and communicate with technical & non-technical stakeholders.
  • Technical Background: Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and experience in working alongside software engineering, machine learning engineers or closely related roles. Comfortable with data analysis.
  • Product Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex product projects and deliver high-quality results against deadlines.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, including recruiting, mentoring, and developing talent.
  • Adaptability and Initiative: Thrives in a dynamic start-up environment, adapts to changing priorities, and takes initiative to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
