The Role:

The role belongs to a creative storyteller who understands how to construct a cohesive content strategy with a focus on user journeys and persona development aligned to Paddle’s core business objectives and customer needs. This individual leads the translation of these strategies into planning, execution, and optimization of across digital experiences and other communication mediums. This individual is able to gather key business and user insights and create a long-term vision for the brand’s content needs.

In addition, a strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, information architecture, and usability best practices is a core function of the job. This person has experience handling SEO challenges such as site migrations and site consolidations and optimizing websites for search performance.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee content requirements and create a clear content strategy framework with deliverables across the life cycle of a project, leading the effort end-to-end. This includes everything from content audits/gap analyses, to developing content strategies and roadmaps that align to stated business objectives.

  • Develop clear and engaging content that builds the brand while addressing consumer and business needs, this includes producing content that is aligned to Paddle’s brand voice, style, and tone.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and build a content marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, sales enablement, lead generation, customer engagement, sales, and customer retention
  • Provide digital marketing knowledge and SEO insights and best practices to arrive at the best-possible execution decisions
  • Analyze content performance to identify trends and make recommendations for optimizations and new content creation

We'd love to hear from you if you are:

  • Able to take a comprehensive and strategic approach to storytelling, tying together big ideas/concepts in ways that engage our customers

What employees are saying

"Paddle have always offered a flexible working from home policy, and with the impact of COVID-19, they have strengthened their approach to this culture. We have an office available if we want to work around the team, or we can work from home whenever we like. It's a great balance! The parental leave is also awesome, we're super dog friendly and have some excellent benefits. I never feel pressured to work particular hours or stress that I have to be in an office."
