This is a short term role (March to July/August 2023) with responsibility for delivering the group consolidated statutory accounts along with UK legal entity accounts under IFRS for the year ended 30 April 2023.
Your day to day will be:
- Assist in preparation and completion of UK statutory accounts – taking them from TB in Netsuite to final signed version – 3 UK companies, plus consolidated group accounts, under IFRS
- Co-ordinate completion of audit support files including balance sheet reconciliations and similar, working with the UK and other group finance teams
- Provide required IFRS disclosure workings and support needed for the statutory accounts
- Work with the group’s auditors (Deloitte) and internal finance team to answer all queries and provide supporting schedules as required
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting and experience of preparing statutory accounts – including experience of lease accounting and expected credit losses and other financial instruments disclosure
- Excellent Excel skills and experience of using Netsuite (or similar accounting system)
- Experience of working in fintech or other financial institutions an advantage
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability and attention to detail
