Marketing Intern

Job Description

The Role

As a Marketing Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to protect the planet by promoting our message via our social channels.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for students pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Marketing and gaining hands-on experience in a real-world environment.
Throughout your internship, you will gain hands-on experience in digital marketing techniques. Your efforts will help enhance the efficiency and reliability of the organisation's data collection system, ultimately leading to more informed and data-driven decision-making.

This role reports to Shalini Menon, Marketing Manager, and has key stakeholder relationships with team members throughout the company. This role is hybrid and will require visits to the Hamburg office on occasion.

Part-Time 20-30 hrs, limited to 3-6 months +

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and updating social media calendars for Linkedin, Instagram, and Tiktok.
  • Collaborate on content creation and brainstorming for social media platforms.
  • Learn and assist in performance marketing activities to enhance our online presence.
  • Help with data analysis using tools like Google Analytics to extract valuable insights.
  • Gain exposure to Search Engine Optimization (SEO) practices to improve online visibility.
  • Support community management efforts, particularly in the sustainability sector.

Who you are

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple streams of work
  • Fluent English: English is our work language, they will need to be interacting with people all over the company. German is a plus.
  • Someone who is also dynamic and responsive, has a team spirit, and wants to discover the world of Sustainable Packaging Solutions.

Hiring Process

We want you to know what to expect out of your candidate experience with us and make this as much as possible a two sided process, allowing you to get to know us as well.

Once submitted, your CV will be reviewed by the team, and shortlisted for interviews. Everyone will be contacted to find out the outcome of their application.

There will be three interview stages:

  • Introduction call with our TA team – 30 minutes
  • Call with our Marketing Manager - to share more about one.five, how we work & to dig into the day to day of the role more and answer any questions you may have for us – 30 minutes
  • Final interview with of our Co-Founders to clarify last open questions and discuss our Values– 30 minutes
