Purpose of your role

As Senior Marketing Manager your primary objective will be to grow overall revenue in the EMEA, with a core focus on delivering high quality B2B initiatives that increase our portfolio of Corporate (SME) clients, working at both a strategic and executional level. You’ll join the business at a key moment in OFX’s history as we supercharge B2B growth in the UK and expand across European markets such as Germany.

What you do

  • Drive ideation, implementation, and execution of B2B online and offline marketing initiatives that deliver customer acquisition, activation, and engagement growth
  • Analyse and identify messaging, creative, and channels that drive profitable outcomes, explain observations and insights for performance, ideas for improvement, estimated spend and results
  • Partner with agencies, vendors, internal stakeholders, and the Sales Team to build and execute lead generation campaigns that convert to new clients.
  • Confidently move between typical B2B channels and what might be considered traditional B2C channels such as TV, radio, and digital, using intelligent data-led targeting to scale OFX’s B2B acquisition plan
  • Join the cross functional team to develop OFX’s European expansion strategy and bring it to life in market to meet revenue objectives
  • Take ownership of local creative and content development, ensuring that it’s based on customer insight and resonates with the target audience
  • Collaborate with global marketing team (in UK, Australia, and North America) on implementation, success metrics, analytics, audience segmentation, messaging, promotions, and retention strategies
  • Actively demonstrate a data-based insight, optimisation, and measurement operating methodology across all your work
  • Confidently communicate to Senior Leaders across all business functions from Finance, Marketing, Operations, Website, Sales Operations and Customer Service, to ensure marketing programmes are well understood, and demonstrate marketing effectiveness and ROI across the business
  • Track, measure and report on marketing programmes, strategies, and budget, in close collaboration with the Acquisition Marketing team
  • Manage and leverage marketing agencies and internal stakeholders to continually optimise marketing campaigns and prove their effectiveness
  • Work with partnerships team to activate key relationships such United Rugby Championship, other sports organisations, and other verticals
  • Be a brand ambassador and align campaigns to OFX brand and value proposition

  • In depth knowledge and passion for B2B marketing

  • Data driven approach of the end-to-end client experience
  • Able to make the complex simple and the simple compelling, especially when demonstrating marketing effectiveness

Knowledge, skills, experience

  • Knows B2B lead generation inside and out
  • Has executed go-to-market strategies, comfortable building from the ground up
  • Ability to lead projects and campaigns end-to-end
  • Strong creative and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate data into compelling creative concepts
  • Data-driven marketer with proven quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; should habitually seek out data and the views of frontline staff and customers to make decisions
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills; can operate and deliver to high standards of quality with minimal supervision
  • Proactive and independent, always looking for ways to take initiative and improve existing programs/processes
  • Collaborative, cross-functional team player and comfortable partnering with a variety of people. Particularly enjoys working with Sales and Finance Teams
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Happy working across a variety of digital and offline channels such as display, social media, Paid Search, TV, Radio, Outdoor, etc.
  • Experience of working with agencies

Qualifications

  • University degree
  • 7 years+ marketing experience
  • Marketing qualifications such as CIM or Marketing Week Programmes
  • Proficiency in excel and strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge of digital tracking solutions such as GA, GTM, DCM
