Job Description
Pricing Analyst
- Develop hands-on pricing and radar skills, supported by experienced Developers as you grow into an independent pricing developer.
- Work across the full pricing lifecycle, contributing to real models, improvements and business decisions from day one and use your expertise to contribute to NFU Mutual’s largest transformation programme.
- Hybrid role with 80% homeworking and 20% in Stratford-upon-Avon

We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to support the development and ongoing improvement of pricing models and rating structures within our Pricing function. This role offers the chance to develop technical skills in a collaborative environment, working alongside experienced Developers, Consultants and Managers. You will extract, validate and analyse data, conduct complex pricing analysis, and contribute to the enhancement of pricing models and rating logic. Responsibilities include quality assurance, preparing reports, communicating insights to stakeholders, responding to pricing queries, collaborating across pricing projects, and building expertise in radar pricing systems. The role also involves contributing to risk mitigation and delivering ad hoc projects as required.

Essential:
- Hands on development experience.
- Strong numerical and analytical capability, with experience handling large and complex datasets.
- Ability to communicate technical outputs clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- A degree in a numerical / computing subject, or a relevant professional qualification.
Desirable:
- Experience working within a pricing team, with accountability for technical model development.
- Experience building pricing models under supervision.
- Exposure to radar pricing systems or similar modelling tools.
- Experience working within an Agile delivery environment, feeding into ceremonies and using project management tools such as Azure Dev Ops
