Job Description

We’re on a mission to create a diverse group of future leaders. We do that through professional apprenticeships because we believe learning on-the-job creates a more equitable and successful path to careers. We find, train and support talented individuals, wherever they are in their career journey, and equip them with the in-demand tech, software engineering, and data skills to transform their careers and deliver a better route to growth for their employers.

We’ve had some big achievements. We hit 10,000 apprentices in our community - and counting. We launched one of the largest data apprenticeship programs in the UK with Jaguar Land Rover, and we’ve partnered with companies like Mars, Verizon and CitiBank. Not to forget becoming a mission-driven EdTech unicorn after our $220m Series D.

But we aren’t stopping here. Join Multiverse and build the future of learning at work.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join the marketing team at Multiverse, with the opportunity to define a category and, in doing so, create opportunities for thousands of apprentices and transform thousands of organizations.

You’ll need to consider both sides of the marketplace (incredible people from all backgrounds to start apprenticeships, as well as the global organizations we match them with), inspiring a change in society at large for how we consider true alternatives to a broken college system.

You’ll work on brand campaigns, brand partnerships, and event experience, including for our user conference.

You will also be responsible for ensuring our blog and corporate-focused social channels (LinkedIn + Twitter) represent our brand - and achieve their engagement goals.

Specifically, you will

  • Drive overall positioning work for Multiverse as an organization working with partner teams - Comms, DE&I, B2B marketing, and apprentice marketing teams.

  • Identify people and organizations who represent the Multiverse brand - building deep relationships and partnerships, and a strategy for how we leverage these relationships

  • Author brand campaigns that increase brand awareness and brand sentiment toward Multiverse in the US and the UK

  • Evolve our corporate-first social channels (LinkedIn & Twitter) to center on changing the hearts and minds of CXOs and their influencers (policymakers, advocates, and industry bodies)

  • Support the flagship event strategy for Multiverse across owned and partner events - working with our B2B growth, apprentice growth, and our public relations team to bring these to life for all sides of our marketplace

  • Establish success metrics - you’re comfortable reporting on program performance to key stakeholders - and are ready to move the needle on awareness and favorability of both Multiverse and apprenticeships in the US and the UK

About you

  • You are passionate about social and economic mobility and the goal of ensuring that all candidates have equitable access to apprenticeship opportunities

  • You’ve led large-scale brand initiatives, ideally at a high-growth organization - and have a track record of impact and excellence

  • You have experience project managing and can work collaboratively with individuals and peers in comms, marketing, and business roles

  • You have a positive-sum mentality - you’re equally excited about both rolling up your sleeves to get something done and reflecting on the bigger picture

  • You are comfortable with and motivated by high-expectations stakeholders; you can earn trust and retain it through difficult situations

  • You have high internal expectations for what is possible and the ability to bring others along on that journey
