The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Operations leader to join the team. You will be responsible for supporting Central Operations leadership through driving execution and owning strategic projects that dramatically elevate and enhance our operations. You will translate strategy into action. You will be responsible for streamlining processes, implementing efficient systems, and ensuring smooth operations across various departments. Your goal will be to enhance productivity, minimize costs, and drive overall business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to drive business improvements. We are looking for someone who is keen on enabling AI technology to close operational and product gaps. You are an operator through and through with excellent communication, demonstrate leadership/confidence, and have a proven track record of cross-collaboration to deliver on operational wins. You move with agility and speed, knowing tomorrow’s improvements need today’s focus.

Responsibilities:

Operational Strategy: You will be a key partner to Central Ops leadership in establishing the value this team brings to the Operations Org.

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with Central Ops leadership

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Review the various ongoing workstreams across workflows

  • Understanding the product roadmap and supporting in prioritisation

Process Optimization: You will execute on business solutions for biggest pain points and areas of innovation, moving business to higher standards of operational excellence.

  • Assess existing operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement streamlined processes.

  • Assess opportunities for leveraging AI to offload manual tasks while understanding market

  • Test hypothesis for improvement through A/B testing and pilots to enable effective scale

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate operational processes to identify areas for improvement.

  • Work closely with department heads to standardize procedures and ensure compliance with best practices.

Cross-Departmental Coordination: You will own the collaboration to effectively see projects and changes through. Assessing key decision making touch points, where leaders need visibility and where we need to bypass bureaucracy for quick wins.

  • Foster collaboration and communication between different departments to ensure seamless operations.

  • Act as a liaison between various teams to facilitate efficient information sharing and problem-solving.

  • Identify and resolve interdepartmental conflicts or issues that may hinder operational efficiency.

Performance Monitoring: We are a data-driven team that leverages insights to inform how we prioritize, assess impact of changes and execute. You will:

  • Develop and implement performance tracking systems to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Analyze operational data and generate reports to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of improvement.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding operational performance.

Risk Management: You will Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop risk management plans and strategies, particularly with the transitioning of multiple tools. Proactively anticipate potential issues and implement contingency plans to minimize project disruptions. Ability to alert the right stakeholders.

  • Success running operations at a scale-up or fast growing company

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working closely with technical product teams

  • Excellent team management skills, communication, and prioritization abilities
