The opportunity:

We are looking for an I/O Business Psychologist in the US to help us deliver our mission. Acting as the Psychometrics subject matter expert for our US-based clients and community, the I/O Business Psychologist is integral in supporting the delivery of Psychometrics in the US. With an aim to find a suitable apprenticeship for every candidate and a suitable candidate for every apprenticeship by matching great potential with great opportunities, the Psychometrics Team is at the core of the Multiverse mission.

Specifically, you will:

  • Liaise with the consulting Industrial/Organizational Business Psychologist, legal counsel, and our clients to ensure that the global assessment and platform proposition is aligned with EEOC and local industry standards

  • Conduct a wide range of local validation studies and write academic, industry, and social media reports with a special focus on diversity, adverse impact, user feedback, and experimental evidence supporting the value of using psychometrics to drive social mobility through training

  • Contribute to the development of our evidence-based comprehensive competency framework linking early talent potential to apprenticeship programs and success on role

  • Collaborate actively with an exciting team of scientists, UX and product experts and psychologists, with a wider network of coaches, early talent experts, and clients/employers from the biggest companies in the world

  • Your work will help candidates from all backgrounds to access life-changing careers through training and coaching programs that are tailor made to fit their potential

  • You will support our apprentices in discovering and leveraging their innate superpowers

  • You will play a crucial role in educating employers about focusing on and managing potential and diversity through scientific evidence

About you:

  • You earned a MS or PhD in Organizational/Occupational/IO/Business Psychology or Psychometrics and 3-5 years of prior experience

  • You have experience in working with a US-based company working on the implementation of psychometric assessments or design and development of psychometric assessments used for employee selection

  • You are an expert in stakeholder management

  • You have experience with early careers, some experience with neurodivergent and minority populations is preferred

  • You are extremely passionate and vocal about diversity, equity, and inclusion and genuinely want to make a difference

  • You are a rigorous and ethical scientist believing in evidence-based practice

  • You care deeply about our mission and embody our values in all that you do

The base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $140,000.
