Job Description

We are Multiverse, a tech scaleup with a social mission. We’re creating a diverse group of future leaders by building an outstanding alternative to college and corporate training.

In June 2022, we announced our $220m Series D raise, making Multiverse a mission-driven unicorn. This funding will help us to accelerate our growth in the US, where we’re committed to tackling the toughest challenges facing those who seek jobs - and those who provide them.

In our first year in the US, we launched over 20 apprentice cohorts at some of the best companies in America, including the likes of Verizon, Visa, Cisco and Box. Globally, we work with over 500 clients and we’ve been recognized as one of the fastest-growing businesses in Europe.

Join us on our journey to democratizing access to the best careers and learning opportunities.

The Opportunity

tl;dr: Multiverse is looking for an exceptional Global Director of Product Marketing to lead go-to-market strategy for both sides of our marketplace (attracting apprentices and matching them to incredible opportunities with companies).

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketer who is excited by the opportunity to grow and develop a high-performing global team. You’ll be responsible for differentiating and driving growth across our portfolio as we continue to explore new skills pathways for underrepresented talent.

As the leader of this function, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape the future of our market positioning, partnering closely with our sales and product leadership to deliver a world-class experience for our clients and apprentices.

Specifically, you will...

  • Lead a team of product marketers who own go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning for each of our learning products

  • Partner with product leadership to help shape our overarching product strategy with a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends

  • Partner with sales and customer success leadership to ensure teams are equipped with effective enablement materials to effectively position our products to the right buyers

  • Partner with B2B/B2C leadership to drive effective marketing campaigns and build content strategies that drive awareness and adoption of our products

  • Establish frameworks for key product marketing initiatives (i.e. product launches, pricing, buyer personas, product onboarding)

  • Oversee our market intelligence and voice-of-customer programs across both regions, including competitor mapping and win/loss reporting

  • Lead and support cross-functional initiatives, playing a key role in the growth of our business

  • Serve as a critical leader within the marketing team

About you:

  • 2+ years managing direct reports

  • 8+ years of strategy, product, or marketing experience

  • You are passionate about social and economic mobility and the goal of ensuring that all candidates have equitable access to apprenticeship opportunities

  • You are a proactive, effective communicator and are excited about working in a diverse, distributed team

  • You have a positive-sum mentality - you’re equally excited about both rolling up your sleeves to get something done and reflecting on the bigger picture

  • You are comfortable with and motivated by high-expectations stakeholders; you are able to earn trust and retain it through difficult situations

  • You have high internal expectations for what is possible and the ability to bring others along on that journey

The base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $210,000.
