Enterprise Launch Operations Manager, UK

Employment type:  Full time

3–4 days/week at home

A little flex time

Job Description

We are Multiverse, a tech scaleup with a social mission. We’re creating a diverse group of future leaders by building an outstanding alternative to university and corporate training, through the power of professional apprenticeships.

We’re one of the fastest-growing businesses in Europe and rapidly expanding in North America, working with over 500 clients including Facebook, KPMG, Morgan Stanley and the NHS. In June 2022, we broke the EdTech funding record (again!) by announcing our $220m Series D, making Multiverse the UK’s first ever EdTech unicorn.

Join us on our journey to democratising access to the best careers and learning opportunities.

The Opportunity

The Launch Operations team are responsible for the development of streamlined and scalable processes for onboarding new apprentices, apprentice managers and clients. This includes successful planning of each launch, and ensuring that our apprentices are set up for success from Day 1 of their programme.

We act as the trust conduit between the Sales and Delivery functions of the business, and sit within the Customer Success team. We're part of the wider Multiverse's Go To Market team, where we benefit from the leadership of our President, Jeremy Duggan, who has an impressive track record of taking 4 previous tech companies to a billion-dollar valuation. To add context to this, there’s a 1 in 7000 chance of a business reaching unicorn status; this is your chance to join us pre-IPO.

We are looking for an outstanding Enterprise Launch Manager who will orchestrate large-scale, cross-functional cohort launches for our Enterprise and Partnerships clients. You will work closely with the internal and external stakeholders to design launch project plans, oversee the onboarding process and ensure our apprentices, apprentice managers and clients have a world class onboarding experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success and Admissions to deliver on complex, larger-scale launches with bespoke requirements

  • Create and own end-to-end launch project plans to ensure key deadlines are hit and all pre-launch activities are successfully completed, overseeing the onboarding process end to end.

  • Identify and communicate risks to booked revenue and share suggested actions to mitigate against these

  • Design and implement a best practice playbook for strategic and major account launches

  • Provide hands-on support to our clients to ensure a successful launch and a world class experience

  • Collaborate with the US team to uphold global best practice, sharing learnings and streamlining approach, whilst understanding local market nuances.

  • Review and implement feedback from launches, from both internal stakeholders (Sales and Delivery) and external stakeholders (clients and apprentices)

About you:

  • You have a proven track record in building relationships with clients, and working in collaboration with commercial teams, e.g. sales and customer success teams.

  • You have experience with project management and successfully leading complex projects across different stakeholders.

  • You have operational experience creating processes and systems built for scale and seek to build for efficiency: you are process-driven and a logical thinker.

  • You are experienced and motivated by working with high expectation stakeholders who move at pace, especially where meeting goals is a question of how and not whether; you are able to earn trust and retain it through challenging situations.

  • You are a proactive, effective communicator who is brilliant at building relationships and has strong stakeholder management skills (preferably with experience of working with a commercial team).

  • Excited about working in a scale up environment where systems are constantly changing and evolving and there are always new problems to solve: you have experience managing and executing projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Great hustle - we are a business with big ambitions so we are looking for people who are excited to be part of our mission and journey

  • You’re equally excited about both rolling up your sleeves to get something done and reflecting on the big picture.

  • You have high internal expectations for what is possible and the ability to bring others along on that journey.

  • You are data-driven: able to manage multiple data sources and quickly collate information to provide insightful analysis and spot capacity gaps

Benefits

  • Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 d.o.e. (plus a 10% annual bonus and equity shares)

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 6 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days and 4 company-wide wellbeing days

  • Health & wellbeing - private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, and access to Spill - all in one mental health support

  • Hybrid working - weekly visits to the London office

  • Equity - every Multiverser has ownership in the business through equity options

  • Team fun - weekly socials and regular offsite events
