Job Description

We’re on a mission to create a diverse group of future leaders. We do that through professional apprenticeships because we believe learning on-the-job creates a more equitable and successful path to careers. We find, train and support talented individuals, wherever they are in their career journey, and equip them with the in-demand tech, software engineering, and data skills to transform their careers and deliver a better route to growth for their employers.

We’ve had some big achievements. We hit 10,000 apprentices in our community - and counting. We launched one of the largest data apprenticeship programs in the UK with Jaguar Land Rover, and we’ve partnered with companies like Mars, Verizon and CitiBank. Not to forget becoming a mission-driven EdTech unicorn after our $220m Series D.

But we aren’t stopping here. Join Multiverse and build the future of learning at work.

The Opportunity

The CRM Lead will be responsible for a best-in-class communication ecosystem across direct marketing channels. You’ll ensure every Multiverse apprentice receives the right message at the right time and knows exactly why their apprenticeship will turbo charge their career.

We are looking for an analytical, technical and experience CRM professional who will:

  • Convert Multiverse candidates to apprentices through a conversion journey built on A/B testing, research and inspiring communications

  • Work closely with teams in Delivery, Admissions, Sales and Community to closely understand and optimise a user journey that delights

  • Use data and research to understand key user pain points and solve them to drive retention and apprentice successes

You’ll have deep experience at building data integrations and marketing workflows. You’ll be motivated to get this right in a role that directly impacts how people gain equitable access to incredible opportunities at the world’s top tech companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Data driven and comfortable with other teams: you’ll work with our Tech and Data & Insights teams to set up new platform integrations that support email and communications automation. Not to mention, our Delivery team and Coaches who are on the frontline working with apprentices to ensure your comms hit the mark

  • CRM champ: building and optimising campaigns and workflows. You’ll own content selection, copy & creative asset briefing, list set-up, implementation and scheduling. You’re not the copywriter but you’ll need to lead on the core messaging requirements and the user journey

  • Test and Learn specialist: use your findings to guide campaign optimizations & inform other initiatives in the Marketing, Go-to-Market and Admissions teams

  • Build for scale: you’ll establish scalable processes and promote best practices

  • Strategy boss: you’ll be up to date with the latest trends & competitor activity within the Edtech and CRM space

The right candidate will have:

  • 5 years+ experience in CRM/marketing automation

  • Proactive mindset and focus on long-term impact

  • Deep experience of working within marketing automation platforms (e.g. Iterable, Braze, Twilio, Salesforce) to create detailed workflows with high levels of personalisation and dynamic content

  • Previous experience of managing an ESP platform implementation or transition

  • Track record of owning an audience’s content and testing strategy, with proven results on engagement & business metrics

  • Outstanding stakeholder management, able to communicate persuasively and establish consensus at all organisational levels

  • Excellent written communication skills, and an outstanding attention to detail

  • Intermediate HTML skills

  • Ability to manipulate, analyse and clean datasets in Excel/Google Sheets

  • Strong understanding of user data management and regulations in the UK and US

Benefits

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 7 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days and 4 company-wide wellbeing days and 8 bank holidays per year

  • Health & Wellness- private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, gym membership & wellness resources through Gympass and access to Spill - all in one mental health support

  • Hybrid & remote work offering - with weekly or monthly visits to the London office and the opportunity to work abroad 45 days a year

  • Team fun - weekly socials, company wide events and office snacks!
