Job Description

Our teams take an active part in foreign and national infrastructure projects, specializing in transport planning, highways, geotechnics, water, environment, tunnels, and foundations.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Independent professional able to identify structural problems and define tasks accordingly
  • Able to prepare complex structural models in any FEM software, able to interpret the results
  • Able to perform hand calculations in order to validate FEM results
  • Understands physical principles of structural analysis and verification
  • Able to perform structural verification of concrete and steel elements
  • Closely familiar with Eurocodes, able to learn other standards
  • Basic knowledge of geotechnics
  • Czech and English language on advanced level
  • Communicative withing international team both within and outside base office
  • Able to manage their own tasks, able consider the project scope, detail and timeframe
  • Chartership or PhD in Structural Engineering

Minimum requirements

  • Fair skill in any FEM software
  • Fair skill with structural verification of concrete elements
  • Familiar with Eurocodes or other design codes
  • Czech speaking with English basics or English speaking with Czech basics
  • Master’s degree in civil engineering

Job Profile :

  • Structural analysis and design for heavy civil infrastructure (support of excavation, retaining walls, tunnels, buildings, etc.)
  • Designing mostly reinforced concrete structures, often steel structures, occasionally other structures (composite steel and concrete, fibre reinforced concrete, timber, etc.)
  • All levels of detail in design – from preliminary study to detailed design
  • Projects on local and international market
  • Close cooperation with geotechnics team
  • Design in line with Eurocodes or other standards (depends on project requirements)
  • Project delivery including all steps: processing inputs, structural analysis and verification, output summary, checking, writing reports
