We’re looking for a Senior Odour Specialist to play a key role in one of the largest Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) projects in the region. About the role

You’ll be at the forefront of designing and managing advanced odour control systems that ensure environmental sustainability and community well-being. Your expertise will help shape a cleaner, healthier future for millions.

As a Senior Odour Specialist, you will:

  • Lead and review design documents and drawings for odour control facilities and associated systems (including extraction and ventilation systems).
  • Design innovative solutions for odour control systems (carbon, biological, chemical) and air renewal systems.
  • Peer review contract documents, calculations, and reports to ensure compliance and excellence.
  • Apply your deep knowledge of specifications, datasheets, and operational best practices for odour systems.
  • Oversee testing and commissioning (FAT & SAT) and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct and review odour dispersion modelling and provide expert recommendations.
  • Monitor and approve inspection plans, commissioning plans, and operational testing plans.
  • Ensure compliance with odour emission limits and system performance standards.

Candidate specifications:

  • Education: Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university. Professional Engineering Registration is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven track record as a Manager or Technical Lead in design management for large-scale projects.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and technical expertise in odour control systems and related infrastructure.
