Job Descripton:

About the Role

Mott MacDonald is currently looking for a Senior Landscape Architect in Dubai, to grow their Landscape Architecture Team for supporting the delivery of projects.

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

  • Create strong and unique landscape concepts and leading design development throughout the full scope, ensuring creativity and functionality in project outcomes.
  • Lead / Support project coordination, client communication/facing, and timeline management, ensuring projects are delivered on time with given resources.
  • Support developing plan layouts, sections, and elevations graphically and technically in relevant softwares
  • Develop grading plans that ensure functional, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing landscapes.
  • Prepare material specifications in locally and universally acceptable standards.
  • Work flexibly across different projects adjusting to project-specific needs in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Support continuous improvement and digital ways of working, sharing knowledge and lessons learned.
  • Demonstrate safe, ethical and inclusive behaviours aligned to Mott MacDonald values.

Candidate Specification:

  • A degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
  • Experience in delivering landscape architecture projects for all design stages.
  • Strong knowledge of plant species, horticulture, and sustainable design practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • UAE / Middle East project experience.
  • Required skills in proficient level:
    • Client facing
    • AutoCAD
    • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
    • SketchUp
    • Lumion
  • Preferable skills:
    • Civil 3D (for grading modelling)
    • Revit
