As a result of our ongoing growth and project successes, Mott MacDonald has an opportunity for a Quality Manager to join our team. This role is a critical part of our project delivery team and will play a key role in helping MM maintain positive relationships with our clients and ensure a client centric experience.
In this complex and multi-faceted role, the successful Quality Manager will:
- Work alongside our Quality Management team to continue to enhance Quality Management excellence across Canada in accordance with ISO 9001.
- Assume oversight of processes and best practice for quality management on infrastructure projects/programs.
- Plan and perform Quality Assurance (QA) oversight surveillances and audits within Canada and the North American region, including tasks such as pre-audit activities, conducting audits (meetings & interviews), preparing reports, and performing post-audit follow-ups.
- Supporting the establishing, managing, maintaining, and implementing of projects’ Quality Policy and Quality Management Systems (QMS), including the Quality Management Plan (QMP) and quality procedures, as well as assembling and distributing Project Quality Compliance Reports.
- Collaborate and coordinate with Project/Program partners, Team Leads, and Document Control Teams to provide support for quality-related activities.
- Support, develop, and deliver quality program training and awareness to the project team.
- Perform QA certifications for work product documents, including reviews of contract package documents (using established SharePoint Deliverables Review).
- Determine nonconformance findings, issue corrective action requests (CARs) (when warranted), and monitor the effectiveness of Corrective Actions/Preventive Actions (CAPA) and measures.
- Identify and assess critical quality-related issues and work with the quality management team to implement preventive measures.
- Development, review, and maintenance of Project Quality Records.
The ideal candidate will have the following required experience:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (certification by Exemplar Global or equivalent ISO-recognized certification body)
- 10 or more years of experience in quality management within a multi-disciplinary engineering design organization(s), preferably with ISO 9001 certification
- Proven experience defining, drafting and refining quality management work processes
- Knowledge of professional licensing and practice requirements across Canadian jurisdictions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working with SharePoint, Excel, ProjectWise, BIM360 or similar
- Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation

Multiple factors such as qualifications, overall experience and position responsibilities will be used to determine the successful candidate's actual salary within the expected range.
The expected salary range for this position is from $118,000 - $144,000.
