Mott MacDonald Canada is at the forefront of delivering transformative infrastructure projects across the country. As our portfolio of major projects continues to grow, we are seeking a Principal Civil Infrastructure Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering complex infrastructure solutions. This is a key leadership opportunity for an accomplished professional who is passionate about major infrastructure development, thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, and is motivated by making a lasting impact for our clients and the future of our communities.

As a Principal Civil Engineering Lead, you would be accountable for the below:

• Provide technical leadership in the delivery and design management of infrastructure projects and major infrastructure programs.

• Engage as part of large multidisciplinary teams and review design documents for consistency and coordination.

• Deliver packages of work as Engineer-of-Record with the assistance of other technical and production staff.

• Provide oversight and mentorship to intermediate and junior staff undertaking technical design work.

• Assist in the proposal process as required.

• Engage with clients and stakeholders in the ongoing development of major programs

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering;

• Registered Professional Engineer registered with the PEO;

• 15+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering design in any major infrastructure sector (transportation, transit, water/waste water conveyance, municipal, highway or other related market sector);

• Experience in team leadership and management;

• Strong written and communication skills;

• Confident and positive attitude;

Multiple factors such as qualifications, overall experience and position responsibilities will be used to determine the successful candidate's actual salary within the expected range.

The expected salary range for this position is from $160,000 - $200,000.
