  • Lead and contribute to RFQ and RFP responses, interviews, and negotiations.
  • Through a total team effort, secure major project wins for Mott MacDonald.
  • Provide executive oversight of major projects during initial delivery phases.
  • Establish projects in line with best-in-class project management practices and Mott MacDonald quality standards.
  • Ensure delivery against agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Manage smooth transitions to successor project leaders once projects are established.
  • Re-engage in the capture, win, and delivery lifecycle to support continued portfolio growth.
  • Demonstrate visible and inspiring leadership across North America.
  • Collaborate across markets, sectors, and practices to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Actively mentor and develop talent, enhancing employee engagement, skills, and retention.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards, with zero tolerance for unacceptable behavior.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive “one Mott MacDonald” culture across the region.

About You

Strong track record delivering projects to quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
  • Demonstrated success delivering major transit and transportation projects using Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, or other alternative delivery models.
  • Experience across the full project lifecycle: capture, win, develop, deliver, and close.
  • Previous role as Project Manager or Project Director for a prime designer or contractor on major projects.
  • Deep understanding of the A/E/C industry and alternative delivery procurement approaches.
  • Ability to balance client expectations with commercial objectives and risk management.
  • Strong awareness of Design-Build contractual risks and strategies to mitigate them during delivery.

  • Established network with contractors, private organizations, and state agencies, with the ability to leverage relationships into successful pursuits.
