Digital Designer – Buildings (Auckland)

At Mott MacDonald, we’re driven by improving society through the work we do. We’re looking for a Digital Designer to join our Buildings team in Auckland — someone who enjoys working closely with engineers and contributing to projects that shape how people live, work and connect.

This role suits someone at an early to mid-career stage who wants to grow their technical capability while being part of a supportive, collaborative team.

The role

  • Produce high-quality drawings and models using CAD and Revit
  • Support structural and building services engineers with design documentation
  • Contribute across projects from concept through to detailed design
  • Work on a variety of building projects across commercial, infrastructure and public sector
  • Ensure drawings are accurate, consistent and aligned with project standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated designs

About you

  • Experience using CAD and Revit in a consulting or construction environment
  • Background in structural and/or building services projects
  • Good understanding of design documentation processes
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others
  • Relevant qualification in engineering design, drafting or similar
