Mott MacDonald is seeking an eperienced and client-focused Project Manager ready to take the next step into a leadership position. This role is pivotal in expanding our transportation market presence with LADOTD, driving growth across both design and CE&I services, while continuing to support key municipal clients in the Greater New Orleans area.

Responsibilities include:
- Client Engagement & Market Growth
- Serve as the primary point of contact for LADOTD and municipal clients, ensuring exceptional client service and satisfaction.
- Drive strategic growth of Mott MacDonald’s transportation market in Louisiana, focusing on both design and CE&I services.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities with LADOTD and local agencies; lead proposal development and presentations.
- Project Delivery
- Manage transportation and municipal infrastructure projects from planning through construction, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to deliver complex projects effectively.
- Implement risk management strategies and maintain compliance with LADOTD standards and procedures.
- Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that emphasizes technical excellence and professional growth.
- Business Development
- Support strategic pursuits and client relationship management to expand our footprint in Louisiana.
- Collaborate with leadership on market strategies and resource planning.

Required Experience:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Louisiana (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- 7+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure projects, including roadway design and/or CE&I.
- Demonstrated experience working with LADOTD standards, processes, and project delivery methods.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong client-facing skills with a track record of building and maintaining relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with municipal infrastructure projects (roadway, drainage, utilities).
- Familiarity with alternative delivery methods and DOT funding programs.
- Business development experience and ability to lead strategic pursuits.
- Prior experience mentoring junior staff and contributing to team development.
