Mott MacDonald is seeking a flexible and motivated Aviation Planner with a genuine passion for the aviation industry and a strong commitment to sustainability. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that shape the future of air transport infrastructure worldwide.

We’re looking for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to grow within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll be involved in a diverse range of aviation projects, supporting planning and design efforts across airfield, terminal, landside, and operational domains.

Qualifications & Skills

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree in aeronautical engineering, civil engineering, architecture, airport planning, or air transport management. Candidates with backgrounds in economics, sustainability, finance, or business-related studies may also be considered.
  • Professional experience in one or more technical areas of airport planning (e.g., airfield & apron, terminal, landside, utilities, airspace, operations) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Competency in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI or other data visualization tools.
  • Experience with tools such as AviPlan, Infraworks, Navisworks, Revit, or 3D visualization software is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of simulation and modeling tools for airfield and terminal facilities is advantageous.
  • Experience with building and running CAST simulations for terminal operations and passenger flow analysis is highly desirable.
