Assistant Civil BIM Engineer

• Creating surfaces, alignments, longitudinal sections, modelling piping networks and related drawings.

• Follow BIM workflow, QC process, issuing drawings to internal and external clients and managing electronic information

• Should undertake pipe network modelling (gravity and pressure networks) in Civil 3D oneself and resolve complexities associated with the model

• Should be able to extract schedules, reports of cut and fill quantities.

• Conversant with different input file formats for surface modelling

• Coordination between other disciplines

• Knowledge of vehicle tracking would be preferable

• Knowledge of Part builder would be preferable

• Knowledge of GIS would be preferable

• Work within time limits assigned to complete deliverables on time

Candidate Specification :

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering

• 3+ years of experince

• Knowledge and experience of working on water and wastewater systems is required

• Experience in UK projects is preferable

• Should be familiar with hydraulics & hydrological modelling system

• Must have hands-on experience in modelling pipe network in Civil 3D software

• Knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise or BIM 360 shall be considered as added advantage

• Should be able to troubleshoot, guide and train team members to perform varied levels of development in BIM projects;

• Good communication skills and the ability to work oneself and as part of a team

• A professional attitude towards work and self-motivated​

• Be a team player and have multi-disciplinary co-ordination skills
