  • Please note that this role is a 6-month, fixed term contract, covering one of our colleagues whilst they are away on parental leave.
  • We follow a hybrid approach to work, spending 2-days a week in-person in our offices. This role can be based in either our Manchester or Ewloe hubs, so suited to someone based in the North West / Cheshire / North Wales area.

INSIGHT INTO THE ROLE


We are looking for a versatile Mid to Senior Creative Designer to join our in-house creative team. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of varied design requests across all our brands, ranging from ideation to artwork delivery.

You’ll be tasked with creating engaging on-brand assets to deliver exceptional creative solutions on strategic initiatives across Product and Marketing. Additionally, you will contribute to the setting of the creative strategy to ensure exceptional end-to-end customer experiences.

As a Creative Designer, you’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of all our digital touchpoints, including supporting our CRM campaigns, maintaining a high quality of output through the team and ensuring brand consistency across all customer touch points. We utilise our brand design system to deliver a consistent and coherent design language, increasing efficiencies for designers and ensuring our customers have a coherent brand experience through our visual and verbal language.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR DAY

  • Produce digital assets across a wide range of formats, display, rich media, in app design, partnerships
  • Build new and adapt existing email templates and campaigns sought at prospects and current members to build-ready stage.
  • Create, deliver and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across our Group Brands
  • Provide design solutions for the website and across multiple campaigns
  • Work closely with the Creative Design Lead to ensure creative development is aligned and evolves alongside the service look and feel
  • Taking wireframes developed by the internal Product design team to develop apply quality Creative designs for the website
  • Working with various stakeholders such as Product Managers, Product designers and Content Writers to deliver designs that can be used for customer research prototypes and support our test and learn approach
  • Manage design assets within the Design System to ensure consistent use and approach


WHAT VALUE YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Excellent practical design skills including layout, colour, typography & responsive design demonstrated through strong design portfolio
  • Drawing/sketching skills for ‘scamping’ ideas and mockups
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Time management and project management awareness for on-going design projects
  • Experience of using Adobe Creative suite
  • Experience of using Figma
  • Comfortable with the idea of being an internal advocate of design and the visual identity for our Group
  • Creative mindset, comfortable sketching ideas and concepts or brainstorming marketing ideas on paper

It would help, but is not essential, that you have:

  • Knowledge and awareness of how to build web pages using HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of animation & motion specifically when designing for interaction
  • Experience of using Notion & other tools for providing design documentation
  • Experience and knowledge of Agile web development process
  • Experience and knowledge of user testing designs & interactions with customers
