Our products are built by highly collaborative teams of product managers, designers, developers, QAs, data scientists and DevOps engineers. For 2023 we’ve made exciting changes to our Product Engineering model, to take things to the next level – strengthening the relationship between Product & Technology, unlocking and empowering our engineers to focus on what matters most, creating a more dynamic and inclusive culture and an increased focus on high performance and attracting the best talent in the industry.
Engineering Managers are responsible for the engine of delivery at Moneysupermarket. You ensure teams and engineers are impactful, aligned in their direction and building communication and trust. You champion forward-thinking decision making and help teams take ownership of customer outcomes from project to product. You’ll help us to continually improve and drive more ways for our customers to save money.
What we're looking for:
- You've been a software engineer and you know the challenges and blockers that teams face every day.
- You’re experienced working with - and have a passion for - mentoring teams and enabling them to become high performing.
- You love helping engineers to grow and develop, learn better ways of doing things and improve their skills and have proven experience of doing so.
- You’re an expert agile software development practitioner, both development practices (e.g. TDD, CI/CD) and approaches to delivery.
- You value building long lasting relationships, can quickly establish trust, inspire individuals and communicate optimally.
- You care about diversity and inclusion and creating an inclusive culture which nurtures diversity of thought.
- You have a growth mindset, love learning how you can get better and fostering this attitude in others.
