How you will contribute
Financial Leadership & Performance Management:
Financial Oversight & Cost Control manage and monitor manufacturing costs, product costing, cost-center performance but also drive cost-efficiency through variance analysis (material, labour, overhead).
Performance Reporting & Analysis: Lead the site's actual and forecasting processes. Prepare, analyze, and report key operational and financial KPIs. Proactively highlights risks and opportunities to enable timely decision-making and target delivery.
Governance, Compliance & Process Optimization:
Compliance & Internal Control: Maintain a robust controls and compliance environment across the manufacturing plant, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and audit readiness.
Continuous Improvement: Drive harmonization and efficiency in financial processes and ways of working. Foster a mindset of continuous improvement within the Finance team, leveraging best practices and digital tools.
Strategic Business Partnership & Cost Management:
Strategic end-to-end role: Act as a trusted end-to-end finance partner to plant management, supporting the roadmap agenda for the side & providing critical financial perspective and insight to shape business strategies and decisions.
Team Development: Build and develop a high-performing section controlling team, nurturing talent and ensuring succession readiness.
Cost optimization culture across the organization, empowering stakeholders with clear and proactive cost ownership, identifying significant opportunities for absolute cost reduction, and directly contributing to net productivity and the achievement of critical financial targets.

Technical expertise in financial planning and performance management including analyzing, planning and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and strategy development, investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets.
Business Acumen and understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and snacking market including Supply Chain/manufacturing dynamics. Relevant experience in a large regional (or global) corporation.
Leadership skills enabling cross-functional collaboration with the relevant stakeholders in scope of plant finances.
Growth & digital mindset and ability to identify opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Integrity and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations.
What we are looking for:
Strategic Business Partner: Proven ability to act as a strong financial business partner with deep manufacturing and business acumen.
Financial Expertise & Optimization: Demonstrated proficiency in financial performance management, planning, and driving impactful cost optimization initiatives.
Ownership & Collaboration: you can work independently but also communicate and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across the finance community and manufacturing network.
Growth Mindset & Positive Impact: you bring a positive, energetic attitude and are willing to grow with the team and implement changes
Qualification & requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (required), master’s degree (MBA, MSc) or professional certification (CMA, CPA, ACCA) preferred
Experience:
Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in finance/controlling, with ideally experiences in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
Proven track record in plant/site controlling, cost management, or financial business partnering
Experience managing or developing a team
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel
Experience with financial planning tools
Language Requirements:
English & German
Location & work arrangement:
Location: Bern, Switzerland
Work Arrangement: On-site at the Bern manufacturing plant, with flexibility for occasional remote work in alignment with team and business needs
Travel: Limited
