MEU is about to embark in a great journey: the implementation of a new & advanced planning system [APO replacement]. This massive & strategic project will ‘revolutionize’ the way we plan and equip our E2E planning teams with the right solution to unlock new more efficient ways of working, enabling not only business growth but importantly boosting people engagement.
In these exciting times, the Business Planning Transformation Manager MEU will play a pivotal role in driving transformation of the business planning process, technology, and capability within the organization, with focus on mindset shift required to harness new digital opportunities.
The successful candidate will be a change agent and strong cross-functional influencer, possess high learning agility, digital savviness, and strategic thinking, and demonstrate wide business understanding and expertise in demand planning processes. Commercial background and business partnering experience a plus.
How you will contribute
Responsibilities:
- Is a change agent, leading robust change management with focus on mindset shift required to harness digital opportunities, proper governance, excellent cross functional stakeholder management
- Leading collaboration between the CoE and Area Demand Planning & Fulfillment leads, enabling open dialogue and feedback, and contracting on objectives, principles, success criteria, resources, and timelines
- Actively getting up to speed on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to demand planning, and rapidly adopting new digital tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance demand planning capabilities.
- Defining and evolving our Regional and Local business planning strategy and roadmap
- Working with Global to implement global planning initiatives
- Implementing Business Planning strategy at Area and Market level across process, technology, and capability
- Creating clarity on the AS IS and initiating how we achieve the TO BE
- Driving continuous improvement and adoption of machine-led statistical forecasting, working closely with the Central Analytics Team across all MEU markets
- Leading and unlocking the Focus on Insights and Focus on Key Drivers business planning principles across MEU
- Building business case, timeline, resources, and budget required for Business Planning projects
- Translating needs and impact between business and technical teams
- Bridging between change management and project / operational teams
- Support data discovery and collection of all causal factors (forecast inputs), cross-functionally with the right discipline, horizon, and granularity
- Bringing the modelling team (Central Analytics) and market teams together with regular frequency and highlight priorities or analysis needed
- Providing expertise and coaching in MEU for digital planning and predictive analytics
- Ensuring all relevant legal and compliance requirements are adhered to
