Job Description

Microsoft Advertising (MSA) empowers the largest advertisers around the world to reach their maximum potential through digital advertising solutions on the Microsoft Advertising platform. We are seeking top performing Account Executives with digital advertising experience who can drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction by developing and cultivating strategic client relationships and delivering customized solutions aligning to the client’s advertising needs. The Account Executive enables Microsoft to better serve strategic customers by leveraging knowledge of Microsoft's product landscape, solutions, and strategy to address customers' needs. The Account Executive will develop and oversee the execution of account plans for multiple accounts and work to ensure engagement yield high volume sales for both Microsoft and the customer that are on track with goals, budgets, and forecasts. They will understand customer drivers of digital transformation and leverages understanding to engage internal teams to accelerate the customer's digital transformation and strategy. Cultivate relationships and use Microsoft sales strategies throughout multiple levels of the customer's organization to establish strong alignment on long-term goals and secure buy in and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee complex accounts and lead planning and prioritization efforts to ensure appropriate responses to account needs.
  • Engage with key internal partners to promote long-term, mutually-beneficial digital transformation strategies and leverage key executive relationships to build trust with the customer organization.
  • Leverage best-in-class sales and communication techniques to lead extended virtual teams and key stakeholders with deep industry expertise.
  • To drive digital transformation, translate features into business impact and outcomes that accelerate the customer's digital presence.
  • Develop compelling, value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for customers that drive business outcomes, and implement plans for maximizing upselling/cross-selling opportunities in certain accounts.
  • Proactively coordinate with a network of industry experts to build strong knowledge of the industry and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND experience working in an industry (e.g., Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology).
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration Degree AND experience working in an industry (e.g., Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology).
    • OR experience in working in an industry (e.g., Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND experience working in an industry (e.g., Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology).
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration Degree AND experience working in an industry (e.g., Government, Education), driving digital transformation,
    • OR other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology).
  • Experience with account management experience OR equivalent.
