Technology Operations Manager
LEGOLAND® Billund is looking for a business-oriented Technology Operations Manager.
Do you want to take responsibility for the daily IT operations at LEGOLAND® Billund? Are you passionate about delivering stable and secure IT services - and can you lead a technical team with clear direction and strong professional standards? Then you may be our new Technology Operations Manager.
As Technology Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of IT services across LEGOLAND Billund Resort. You will ensure that our attractions, hotels, and administrative functions have stable and efficient IT operations - every day, throughout the entire season. You will report to the Regional Head of Technology Operations and lead a team of 3–4 Technology Operations Technicians. At the same time, you will collaborate closely with local leaders and international
colleagues within Merlin Entertainments to ensure that our technology setup supports the overall strategy and creates value for the business.

Your responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop a team of 3–4 Technology Operations Technicians, including coaching, prioritisation, and capability development.
- Ensure stable and efficient IT service delivery in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Merlin Technology standards.
- Act as escalation point for critical and major incidents, driving resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes, ensuring compliance with the ITIL framework and internal policies.
- Monitor service performance metrics and use data to optimise operations and drive service excellence.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and manage vendors to ensure high-quality, business-aligned IT services.
- Support the implementation of local and global IT projects while proactively identifying improvements and mitigating operational risks.
To succeed in this role, we expect that you:
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT operations, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Have solid experience managing IT service delivery processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Bring technical expertise in End User Computing (EUC), Point of Sale (POS) systems, and network infrastructure.
- Preferably hold an ITIL Foundation certification and work in a structured way according to ITIL principles.
- Have experience with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow.
- Work analytically and in a data-driven manner, with the ability to maintain oversight in a busy operational environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both Danish and English, written and spoken.
